Abstract

Through a different analysis based on some stronger assumptions than those used in the preceding chapter, it can be shown that Kirchhoff’s laws along with Ohm’s law determine an operating point for our transfinite networks. In fact, this can be done for quite general nonlinear networks without much more effort than that needed for linear networks, once certain results on nonlinear finite networks are established. So, we attack the nonlinear case directly, with linear networks encompassed as a special case.
