This article charts the author’s art practice over many years guided by the use of symmetry and asymmetry and influenced by the use of a ‘system’ of an association of the twelve notes of the chromatic scale with the twelve colours of the chromatic circle. The main idea is the relationship between colour and the structure of colours together with music. He is trying to create a code or language working with visual images in the form of colour structures.
