Abstract
The roots of quality go back to the role the product/service plays in providing value to the customer. In this book, we have attempted to examine the various facets of quality, right from its inception and design, through its transformation from raw material components to the final product and the final delivery to the customer. In concluding our thoughts, we revisit some of these topics in order to integrate the various components of quality. We will also examine the possible pitfalls on the route to producing quality and identify the core requirements to producing a good quality product.
