Abstract

Because of the enormous range of congenital anomalies, classification of all congenital anomalies of the upper limb is difficult. The group of Undergrowth/hypoplasia in Swansons classification [2 ] can be interpreted in many different ways. The groups to consider will be undergrowth of the whole limb with symbrachydactyly (short joined fingers), brachydactyly (short fingers), brachymetacarpia (short metacarpals).
