Abstract

Quick qualifier: Many diseases due to viral illness (viral exanthems) show non-specific histological findings and will briefly be discussed as a large group first. Then clinical entities that can show more characteristic and distinctive histological features will be covered in more detail, and again an attempt to order these entities in decreasing order of frequency has been attempted.
