Abstract
Childhood abdominal tumors are among the most confronting tumors encountered in medicine and especially so for the parents. The massive proportion of the tumor mass relative to the size of the child renders surgery both challenging and demanding. This chapter deals with the complications, risks, and consequences of pediatric tumor surgery. For associated procedures refer to the relevant chapter and volume.
