Abstract
In cryptography we use statistics to decide whether a small bias is just a coincident or a real weakness which lead to an attack. Better statistics can speed up the attacks significantly. Not all the statistics we need is part of standard introduction courses. Therefore this chapter explains the more exotic statics we use.
