Recording and reproducing tactual textures with a high fidelity involves that the hardware and software are able to stimulate the skin at a sufficient speed and with a sufficient power. This chapter concludes the book by outlining the contribution made to the transducer design, to the understanding of the skin properties, and to the signal analysis procedure. It is followed by a discussion of the possible evolutions and improvements of this work.
