Abstract
There have been a huge number of computers in the open computer laboratories higher learning schools. At present, however, the form of hardware protection card is applied in the majorities of computer laboratories, and also there exists inflexible management problems, etc. In this paper, the prospect for the application of the desktop virtualization technology in the open computer laboratories is discussed by the authors.
