Abstract
The rapid increase of Internet users and continuous expansion of network scales have made the network maintenance and management highly complex, and the traditional network management model unable to satisfy the needs of large complex network management. In this paper, according to the shortcomings of existed network fault location technology, a fault location method based on topology correlation is proposed. The correlation of network topological structural nodes is applied in this method. According to the infectiousness of network fault, and by constituting input fault data as one-time fault event and using fault correlation algorithm to locate fault event’s source, this method can provide users with fault location and improve fault processing time and efficiency via test.
