Practical Tips in Urology

Abstract

Urosepsis is a life-threatening condition with a 20–30 % risk of mortality associated. Urologists play a major role in the diagnostic process and in the eventual interventional procedures; however, successful management of uroseptic patients involves coordination with intensive care physicians in a Intensive Care Unit. Causes of urosepsis need to be addressed in the post-acute septic process and their eventual surgical managements may be significantly challenging for practitioners.
