Abstract
Hemorrhagic cystitis is a significant urological condition, consisting of inflammation and/or damage of the urinary bladder mucosa and superficial blood vessels, with subsequent diffuse bleeding. It can present with main clinical symptoms and a number of possible causes have been identified. Treatment options, from general supportive measures to surgical procedures, for this challenging disease are described in this chapter.
