Abstract
A 47-year-old female presented with attacks of peripheral gangrene exacerbated by cold exposure and preceded by acrocyanosis (Figs. 24.1, 24.2, and 24.3). Examination revealed palpable distal arteries. There were no signs of vasculitis, no purpura, and no ecchymosis. Signs of infection were absent, and she had mild jaundice and gave history of dark urine during the attacks. Her two children were similarly affected (Figs. 24.4, 24.5, 24.6, and 24.7).
