Abstract
Belief revision is the subarea of knowledge representation which studies the dynamics of epistemic states of an agent. Belief systems are composed of three pieces: a representation of epistemic states, a set of epistemic attitudes, and types of belief change. Two specific belief systems are presented in this chapter, namely, AGM theory and belief base theory
