Abstract
Since the early days of AutoCAD, the programmers have been striving to produce full three-dimensional capability for the PC-CAD user. With Release 10 they can justifiably claim to have done just that. Earlier versions of AutoCAD allowed only use of isometric projection techniques or a pseudo-3D known as 2.5D. This chapter will take a brief look at all three techniques to produce some simple drawings.
