Abstract
This chapter presents three popular 2-D vision systems from the literature. Section 1.7 of Chapter 1 presented the motivations and role of 2-D object-recognition systems, and our goal in this chapter is to illustrate the theoretical concepts that have been presented in preceding chapters with some salient examples.
