Abstract
This chapter discusses current functions of the Royal College of Surgeons’ Specialist Advisory Committee, the American Society of Transplant Surgery (ASTS), and the United Network for Organ Sharing (UNOS) as organizations that have assumed much responsibility for setting standards for transplant surgery training in the United Kingdom, and in the United States and Canada, respectively.
