Abstract
This paper concerns calculation of dependability (for example average availability) for systems with components subject to periodic overhaul in addition to failures and corrective maintenance. Traditional fault tree analysis does not directly incorporate this situation. Alternative ways to adapt fault tree analysis to overhauled systems are described.
