Abstract
Although the reliability of laser cutting machines has risen dramatically over the last decade, problems associated with the cutting process will inevitably arise from time to time. Most of the problems are related to incorrect parameter settings (power etc.) or the accumulation of dirt on optical components and the nozzle. This section hopes to guide the way to the most effective method of tracking down a problem and then eliminating it.
