Abstract
In this chapter, two empirical quantifiable techniques for assessing software integrity are discussed; test cost assessment and test regime assessment. The first assessment method provides guidance on the estimate of test costs whilst the latter offers a systematic method of building up an argument for the contribution which testing can make to the safety case.
