Abstract
None if the scan is to look for intra-articular loose bodies. If the scan is to assess the labrum it should be performed after a double contrast shoulder arthrogram, using slightly less contrast than usual. Some authors suggest using as little as 1 ml of contrast with 10–12 ml of air.
