Abstract
Malignant disease involving the skin is relatively common and represents a significant work load to the radiotherapist. Squamous cell carcinomas and basal cell carcinomas constitute the majority of lesions dealt with. However, patients suffering from metastatic disease involving the skin, cutaneous lymphomas and malignant melanomas are regularly referred for opinion and may require radiotherapy. Intra-epidermal carcinomas are also frequently treated by radiotherapy.
