Combination of Aetoxisclerol with Glucose for the Treatment of Varicose Veins and Telangiectasias
AETOXISCLEROL is hydroxypolyethoxydodecane, to which is added absolute ethyl alcohol to ensure stability of the substance with respect to heat. Its international non-proprietary name is poliodocanol. It is marketed under the name AETOXISCLEROL. Hydroxypolyethoxydodecane is a hydrophilic ether chain (polyethylene hydroxide) combined with a liposoluble or hydrophobic alcohol (dodecylic alcohol).
