Abstract
This paper describes a learning factory called the Rulers Factory. It exists as a manual version, which already has been used for 10 years by vocational schools in Denmark, and in a CIM version, which for the time being is only a prototype. First the manual version is described with emphasis on technical aspects followed by an overview of different uses in vocational training. After that description of the current CIM version and a presentation of our experience in using this version are provided. Finally I will discuss the potential future applications of a CIM Rulers Factory.
