Abstract
We are living in a period of great change, not simply in chronological terms, but in the broader sense. The changes are profound enough to affect political, economical and scientific thinking — the entire system of human values that is common to all mankind. Now, in the early nineties, the direction of change can hardly be predicted, and it is therefore important to identify the trends of renewal in philosophy and scientific methodology and in styles of thinking.
