Abstract

Chapter 4 discusses early work in the development of both computers and technology. It presents the pioneers of nursing informatics describing some of the projects that they have engaged with over the past 50 years. History of Computing and Technology also includes a presentation linking to additional reference material depicting key milestones on the history of computing from 1939 to 1994.
