Abstract
In this chapter we will review the logic behind the treatment selection for eliminating varicose tributary veins in a given patient. These decisions are based on data, clinical and anecdotal experience and represent the perspective of the author. The reader should understand that some of these recommendations may not be the opinions of all practitioners or even all of the editors; when such a recommendation exists this author will try to present alternative approaches and some of the logic behind the specific recommendation. Also recognize that the choice of a treatment option when several are appropriate should reflect the skill set of the practitioner.
