Abstract

The incidence of obesity and overweight is increasing worldwide. Obesity predisposes to the development of co-morbidities such as diabetes mellitus, hypertension, cardiovascular disease and malignancy. This chapter will focus on identifying and diagnosing common medical problems that obese patients encounter with an overview of managing these conditions.
