Abstract
Urinary incontinence is a common urological condition. It predominantly affects females, however there are increasing numbers of males presenting with iatrogenic stress incontinence following radical prostate surgery for prostate cancer. A thorough assessment of this condition is crucial to guide subsequent treatment options as it is possible to exacerbate the problem with poorly planned treatment. The following chapter will guide you through the assessment of patients presenting with urinary incontinence.
