Abstract
This chapter covers common and rare infections in urological practice that are not covered in other parts of the book. It starts off with the definition of sepsis and septicaemia. Other topics that are covered in this chapter, with details of recognising and treating them, include prostatic abscesses and infections, Fournier’s gangrene, testicular infections and para-urethral abscesses.
