The description of the maximal stability region for a constrained system is a fundamental problem in control theory and a huge amount of literature pertaining the subject can be found (see for instance [5], [7], [28], [29], [30], [24]). A seminal work in this field is represented by the paper [31], which introduces recoverable and reachable zones for linear systems subject to input constraints and exploits the main properties of such regions
