Abstract
There are many different cystic lesions that occur in the pancreas, not all of which are neoplastic. Those with an epithelial lining can be classified according to the type of epithelium present, namely, acinar, mucinous, pancreatobiliary, serous, or squamous. In this chapter, acinar cell cystadenoma, mucinous nonneoplastic cyst, retention cyst, and the squamous epithelium-lined cysts are discussed in detail. Other cystic entities such as duodenal diverticulum and foregut (duplication) cysts are also included.
