Pathology of the Pancreas

Abstract

Solid-pseudopapillary neoplasm (SPN) is a low-grade malignant epithelial neoplasm of uncertain cellular origin. The morphological appearances and immunohistochemical profile are discussed in this chapter, together with the rare variants. There is also detailed discussion of the differential diagnosis and the morphological features and immunohistochemical profiles (tabulated in Chap. 20) which can be used to distinguish these different diagnostic entities.
