Abstract
The pancreas can be involved secondarily by extrapancreatic neoplasms, either by direct invasion or by metastatic spread along lymphatic channels, perineural clefts, or the blood stream. In principle, the possibility of a secondary neoplasm should always be considered as a differential when diagnosing a pancreatic cancer. This chapter focuses on the more common malignant neoplasms that metastasize to the pancreas, and provides detailed information on the differential diagnosis, including a table with useful immunohistochemical markers.
