Abstract

Transrectal ultrasound (TRUS) is used for many prostatic interventions including prostate biopsy, brachytherapy, cryotherapy, to monitor the application of high intensity focused ultrasound (HIFU), and during the investigation of male factor infertility and hemospermia.
