Part of the book series: Lecture Notes in Electrical Engineering ((LNEE,volume 154))

Abstract

To strengthen the teaching management and improve the teaching quality and efficiency, it is necessary to establish a scientific teaching evaluation system. That is to select students' test scores as evaluation indicator, students’ original study level as covariate, and us covariance analysis method and the SAS software to evaluate teachers' teaching quality. The evaluating results therefore can reflect the real teaching level more objectively and fairly. This not only provides an operational method to scientifically evaluate the teaching quality, but also motivates teachers’ working enthusiasm, and thus improves teaching management level.
