Abstract
As mentioned in the former chapters, we can see that the most important characteristic of DVC is its low-complexity encoding, which is especially suitable for the low energy consumption of video communication equipment. In this chapter, we will build the DVC system to realize video communication over wireless network. This system is also constructed as the platform for the DVC algorithms mentioned above, which has been supported by the National 863 Project of China.
