Abstract
The last session on Thursday dealt with heterogeneity issues in building large persistent object system applications. Two papers were presented, one by David Blakeman on the inter-application communication mechanism in the Feinman system, the other by Jean-Claude Franchitti on the Amalgalme interoperability toolkit.
