Abstract
This chapter assumes that either Windows 3.1 and AutoCAD for Windows or AutoCAD DOS Extender have been installed on the computer and are ready to be used. If this is not the case you can follow the procedure outlined in Appendix A of this book. Most dealers will install the software for you when they deliver it. It is good practice to request this service so that your purchase can be fully tested while the vendor is present.
