Abstract

Different control structures were compared experimentally: a commercially available , a completely adaptive digital scheme and a completely adaptive hybrid scheme. In the latter one the speed controller was designed based on to techniques: the model reference principle or according to a linear quadratic optimal control law. In this chapter these structures will be explained and the controller parameters for the digital and analog current control loops and for the analog speed controller will be established.
