Bone Banking

Abstract

The increased demand for bone and tissue banking is related to the need for tissue grafts for the revision of joints, limb salvage surgery and procedures of knee reconstruction. This large demand is limited by the quality standards which have to be met, the complex methodology and currently, in the USA, by the risk and liability involved in bone banking.
