Abstract

This chapter is intended to comment upon the role of the medical expert who produces medical reports and plays a forensic role if called upon to testify at trial. The relevant questions are looked at specifically in the context of civil proceedings where typically (but certainly not invariably) a doctor’s evidence is concerned with the issue of compensation.
