Abstract
Over the past two decades, total knee arthroplasty has evolved into one of the most successful of orthopaedic procedures. The quality of the clinical result has become predictable and reproducible, pain is relieved, and function improved. These excellent results have been obtained in patients with and without severe angular deformities. This chapter, however, will concern itself with those more complicated knees with marked angular deformities in the varus/valgus, flexion/extension, or rotatory planes associated with bone defects.
