Abstract
Professor Boyde presented illustrations of the structure of bone and discussed methods of obtaining information from images. He began with point-projection radiographs taken in vivo, and compared them with higher resolution images of dead bone. He pointed out that low resolution images can be analysed in the frequency domain rather than the spatial domain, to obtain increased information.
