Abstract
Several criteria have been suggested in the literature for the assessment of body fatness, of which Quetelet’s index has been popular for adults. However, the limitations of this approach in children have been discussed in Chapter 6, and the total of 4 skinfolds has been considered more appropriate in the present study.
