Abstract

The combination of radiation therapy with surgery and/or chemotherapy in the treatment of urological malignancy varies widely in this heterogeneous group of tumours, both in usefulness in the curative management of the primary tumour as well as in palliation (and cure in testis cancer) of patients with metastatic disease. Thus, these combinations — radiation and surgery, radiation and chemotherapy — will be dealt with separately and by tumour site.
