Abstract

The routine evaluation of spinal deformity (Binstadt et al. 1982; Board 1967; Bradford et al. 1988; Young et al. 1970) involves accurate assessment of the deformity, its aetiology and magnitude, and an appreciation of bone detail during both the initial and follow-up examinations.
