Abstract
The MMDS pilot installation designed by RAI in Torino is intended to evaluate the applicability of 40 GHz MMDS technology and to individuate criteria for system design and technology planning. A part of the activity will be carried out within the ACTS 215 CRABS Project. The Pilot Installation will include two 2-channel QPSK transmitters, some CW transmitters and a limited number of receiving stations. The activation of two cells will allow for the establishment of the interferential conditions in area. Radiopropagation characterisation will be performed, planning parameters derived.
