Abstract
Haemodynamic criteria are essential for a useful classification of angiodysplasia, for only such an approach can provide the necessary clinical, prognostic and therapeutic information about vascular malformations. Pathological data give only indirect insight into the circulatory conditions which characterize the vascular malformations [1,3,5].
