Abstract
The adrenogenital syndrome is associated with abnormal levels of circulating sex steroid hormones and encompasses all cases of sexual precocity and heterosexual abnormalities due to adrenocortical dysfunction. The adrenal changes may take the form of congenital adrenocortical hyperplasia or neoplasia, both benign and malignant.
